Ali Abbassi, PhD, spent years traveling through villages, towns, and cities across Iran sifting through stacks of rugs in bazaars, collections in mosques, one-of-a-kind pieces in villages and heirloom pieces in homes. He curated only the best rugs with historical and artistic significance. For decades, this priceless collection was made available to the Washington D.C. area serving those with the finest taste including ambassadors, prime ministers, news anchors, decorators and those with an appreciation for the finer things in life. His clientele has been as unique and varied as his rugs. After years of dedicating his life to the pursuit of his PhD, he now has brought his collection to McLean, VA which will be made available online soon.
